Korey Ireland
Korey Ireland and Adeline Schieferstein are heading to Atlanta from October 15 to 17. This is the first time the pair are visiting Atlanta and Atlanta Tango have prepared an exciting program.

Korey Ireland is a composer  and tango enthusiast. He started dancing on social dance floors of the great tango capitols of the world. He hails originally from Kansas City but has spent years travelling the world teaching tango (England, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Russia and in Argentina).  This past November he led "Monster Orchestra" of Tango de los Muertos and released a live CD .

Adeline Schieferstein is a very sought after dancer and instructor who works in Berlin.Among th places she teaches is Mala Junta (the largest tango school in Berlin). She is a guest instructor at other schools. She has ten years of jazz dance training, seven of tango (much of that in Buenos Aires) and many other qualifications I am too lazy to list.

Friday, 10/15 at 7:45 pm at  the Daza Dance Studio Buckhead, Music Resources for Dancers, Learn to listen to the music to improve your dance. $15 (not included in weekend packages.

Saturday, 10/16 at 2:45 pm Creative Crosses and at 4 pm and Circles And Lines (a cartography of the dance) at the GYM at the Peachtree Presbyterian Church.

Sunday, 10/17 at 2:15 pm Crossed System Vals and at 4 pm Multiple Axis Turns at the GYM at the Peachtree Presbyterian Church.

Weekend prices are four workshops for $90 ($60 for students with ID), one day workshops for $50 ($35 for students). Individual workshops for $30 ($20 for students).

You do not need to come with a partner but if you do there is a special four workshop pass for couples for $150 ($130 when one partner is a student, $110 when both are students). To register www.atlantatango.com/koreyregistration.html

They also want to get as many dancers from out of town as possible so they would like to have out of towners stay with locals. Area dancers who host an out of towner can register for four classes for $60. Get in touch with them if you can help.
